How great to have a leisurely morning. Bags out at 9:30; wheels rolling at 10:30.
After breakfast sat with the door to the lanai open and worked on the blogs.
Went down to the lobby and watched the early innings of the Pirates game and said good-bye to the Pacific International Hotel.
It was a very short trip to the airport where we had a seemingly long wait. Wrote some more and grabbed a snack (fruit cup and mango coconut bread slice) for the plane in case we didn’t get a snack on the plane. Finished watching the Pirates and were disappointed that they couldn’t pull the win off.
After a bit of a delay we were off and on our way to Melbourne (Melbin, as the Aussies say). Qantas offers free WiFi on their planes and it was wonderful to get the two blog entries posted.
We arrived in Melbourne and got to the hotel around 6:15. Dinner was at 7:00 so we got our carry-ons to the room and awaited the luggage that was delivered promptly.
Dinner was a choice of Porterhouse steak, barramundi, or risotto. No pictures because it was a bit of confusion and everyone was served at different times.
